For Mother’s day we decided to take a trip to the twin cities of Bow-Edison. I was reading this link on Seattle Magainze and instantly fell in love. The population is about 133. I know, really, reallly small town.
Preparation:
I made some quinoa + moong dal for the kid. We took some milk in a flask and some snacks and toys for the road
Food in Bow-Edison:
We followed the link (above) very strictly. Our first stop was to Tweets cafe to pick some lunch. We ordered 2 entries: Stuffed green peppers and Onion Pizza.

Our second stop was this sandwich place: Farm to Market Sandwiches. We browsed the place, but didn’t get anything as were too full from our lunch at Tweets.
After that we went to the Breadfarm and bought a bunch of bread and other treats.

Other Activities:
- the lucky dumpster
The place has a few quaint shops. The lucky dumpster caught our fancy and we stepped. It was a treat - every piece of junk you can imagine reincarnated into some form of art. Some photos below:

- PBST (Padilla Bay Shore Trail)

Baby-friendly score:
None of the places had a changing table or a high chair.
Our solution to that was to carry his stroller and feed him in his stroller. About changing, we always change him in our car during such emergencies. So it was not a big deal at all.
